In the realm of sports names become synonymous with the player no matter how good or bad the player is or was. Of course if someone excels at their given sport, their names will last through history. Here is my list of the Top Ten Player Names in NBA history. Some of these players have excelled more than their counterparts when it comes to performance, however, these player names are undeniably unique!

  1. LOL this is good b/c it like the sports society have like a rule that there should only be one to two max three players with hard to pronounce names by the general "American" to be spotlighted. All of these players contributed just as much and if not more than the so called super star of their team. But b/c their names are easier on the tongue they take the shine. LOL I have even heard one commentator refer Yinka Dare by his Jersey number several times in a game rather than his name.

  4. Looking back on this and thinking about it now...Kobe Bryant may need to also be an honorable mention...Come on man...they man is named after a piece of Asian Cuisine...LOL
